Fire Escape
Project Objective
An additional residential floor was added to an office structure and we were contracted to design and install a fire escape.
What We Did
We developed the design to meet the current fire escape regulations. We developed a 3D model for client approval.
The Fire Escape was situated on a lower roof which necessitated a large frame to spread the loads. The Fire Escape and spreader frame were built into sub assembly’s at ground level to reduce the ‘working at height’ dangers. Each Section was then lifted and bolted into place, utilising the lower section as safe access to connect subsequent sections.
