Escalator Canopy
Project Objective
Supply and erection of Escalator support structure and canopy.
What We Did
We developed a 3D model from the clients design drawings.
Steelwork was installed in 2 phases, phase 1 comprised the escalator support structure. This was installed first to allow the installation of the conveyors during night time possession. Once the conveyors were in place we returned to complete the erection of the canopy structure. Our package also included the modification of the platform canopy support structure to increase the access clearance for the new escalators. Platform works were carried during night time closures.
