Project Objective
To provide structural steel supports for cable and plant machinery to be installed at a National Grid Substation.
What we did
We manufactured and supplied over 75 various galvanised steel column supports and module assemblies ranging between 2m and 6m high. Our clients programme criteria required 50% of the supports/modules delivered within tight timescales. To facilitate this we accelerated our programme by increasing our workshop capacities and output. This enabled us to meet the tight deadline whilst undertaking all other programmed work within the parameters set. Therefore by maximising our resources and demonstrating flexibility towards our works programme, we were able to deliver high quality structures to meet the needs of this client and all others. This approach is one of many reasons we maintain longstanding client relations.
